Text attribution
Our articles are original summaries, not reproductions. Each one names the publisher of the source material, shows the original headline and publication time, and links to the original where the source permits linking.
Image sourcing order
- Source image — used only where the licence or an explicit permission allows it and attribution requirements can be met.
- Licensed or approved asset — from a provider we hold rights with, or an asset approved by an administrator.
- AI-generated illustration — used when no legally usable photograph is available. These are labelled as illustrative and are never presented as documentary evidence of a specific event.
What we do not do
We do not scrape and republish copyrighted photographs without permission, and we do not strip or omit required credits. Where licensing is unclear, we default to a licensed asset or an AI-generated illustration.
Records
For each image we retain its origin, licence status, attribution requirement and, for generated images, the prompt, model and generation timestamp. These records are auditable internally.
Rights holders
If you hold rights in material you believe we have used incorrectly, contact us and we will review and, where appropriate, remove or re-credit it promptly.
