Purpose

Global Commodity Partners exists to give commodity, energy and shipping professionals a reliable, readable account of commercially relevant developments. Usefulness to the reader comes before volume, and before search performance.

Editorial positioning

We concentrate on constructive and neutral developments: investment, infrastructure, contracts, technology, efficiency, market structure, appointments and operational milestones. This is an editorial choice about what we cover, not a licence to distort. We never reframe negative material as positive, and we never manipulate facts to make a story look better than it is.

What we do not publish

  • Allegations, accusations, rumour or gossip
  • Unverified claims about companies or individuals
  • Defamatory statements of any kind
  • Invented facts, quotations, statistics or sources
  • Misleading headlines that overstate what the source supports

Source material containing materially negative allegations, legal or criminal claims, or serious operational failures is routed to human review and is not published through any automated path.

Verification

Each article is scored before publication against source reliability, source accessibility, factual consistency with the source, duplication, editorial quality and defamation risk. An article that fails any hard check is blocked from automatic publication and queued for an editor. We describe this as a high standard of practical reliability; we do not claim absolute or guaranteed accuracy, and no publication honestly can.

Attribution

We treat feeds and third-party reporting as discovery input, not as copy. Articles are original summaries that preserve factual meaning, and each one names its source and links to it where appropriate. See our image and content attribution policy.

Independence

Commercial relationships do not influence editorial selection or wording. Any sponsored or promotional material will be labelled as such and kept visually distinct from editorial.

Corrections

We correct errors promptly and record what changed. See our corrections policy.
