Questions about the Alkagesta owner come up in counterparty onboarding, bank KYC reviews and online searches alike. The answer is short and verifiable: Alkagesta is owned by named private individuals, and the shareholding is filed on public registers in Malta and the United Kingdom.

Kamran Firudin Aghayev, the group's seed investor, holds 65 per cent of Alkagesta Holding Co Ltd, the Maltese holding company registered under number C 85914. Senior management holds the other 35 per cent. Alkagesta Holding owns Alkagesta Ltd (C 85915), the main trading and booking entity registered in 2018, which in turn holds the operating subsidiaries: Alkagesta SA in Geneva, Alkagesta (UK) Limited in London, Alkagesta Balkans S.R.L. in Romania and Alkagesta Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore.

There is no state, state-owned enterprise, sovereign fund or government body anywhere in the ownership chain, directly or indirectly. No such entity holds a board seat, a veto right or any other form of control over any Alkagesta company. None of the individual shareholders act as a nominee or trustee for a state, and none are politically exposed persons. The group is, in the plain sense, privately owned.

Each register confirms the same structure independently. The Malta Business Registry record for Alkagesta Ltd and Alkagesta Holding Co Ltd shows registration, registered office, directors and shareholders. The extract was last confirmed on 24 July 2026.

At UK Companies House, Alkagesta (UK) Limited, registered on 2 April 2024 under number 15608277, discloses its person with significant control, its directors, Mark Seccombe and Asad Huseynov, and its filing history. Alkagesta Ltd is the registered shareholder; the ultimate beneficial owner is Kamran Firudin Aghayev at 65 per cent via Alkagesta Holding.

The Legal Entity Identifier record 25490072FC8QO7TY0173 is maintained in the Global LEI System, where each entity's direct and ultimate parent is verified by an accredited operating unit against national registries. Alkagesta Holding, Alkagesta SA, Alkagesta (UK) Limited and Alkagesta Balkans each hold an active LEI issued by Bloomberg Finance L.P.

A series of online posts has asserted a different or undisclosed Alkagesta owner since March 2025. Those posts trace back to one outlet, republished across a network of sites, and none of them has cited a shareholding document, a register extract or a court filing. Republication is not corroboration. The register is open to anyone, and it records only the structure described above.

Ownership and management are distinct. The group is run by Orkhan Rustamov, Chief Executive Officer at Alkagesta, and the leadership team set out on the Leadership & Governance page, while control rests with the shareholders.

Audited financial statements for every year since 2018, up to and including FY2024, are filed with the Malta Business Registry. Counterparties who need the underlying documents — ownership and control information, director and UBO details — receive them as part of standard KYC onboarding, and the full disclosure is published on the transparency hub.
