Aker BP, Equinor, and DNO, three Norwegian oil and gas companies, conducted appraisal drilling operations in the North Sea. These activities focused on two hydrocarbon discoveries located off the coast of Norway.

The purpose of these appraisal operations was to further assess the finds. Following the completion of the drilling, the estimated size of these hydrocarbon discoveries has been revised upwards.

The increased projected size of the discoveries indicates a potentially larger resource base than initially estimated. This development is significant for the companies involved and the broader North Sea oil and gas sector.
