Alfa Laval has unveiled the PureBallast 3 Ultra Skid, which is a new skid-mounted version of its PureBallast 3 Ultra ballast water management system, according to Hellenic Shipping News.
The company developed this new solution in response to customer demand. It combines the system's established biological treatment performance with a prefabricated design.
This design aims to minimize both the system's footprint and the time required for its installation, as reported by Hellenic Shipping News. The product was introduced on September 3, 2026.
