The carbon capture system developed by Mitico utilizes a proprietary potassium-based chemical sorbent. This sorbent is integrated into custom designs for its application, as stated by the company.
The demonstration at the Thai refinery aimed to prove the effectiveness of Mitico's technology in capturing carbon emissions. The company described the completion of this project as a success, Rigzone reported.
