A new project has commenced in Broken Bow, Nebraska, with the goal of converting cattle manure into sustainable natural gas. This initiative is designed to create an eco-friendly energy source for both general energy production and shipping fuel, according to OilPrice.com.

The project involves the construction of eight anaerobic digesters at the Adams Land & Cattle feedlot. These digesters will process waste from the facility, aiming to produce a significant volume of natural gas.

Project leaders anticipate that the facility will generate approximately 1.2 million MMBtu of pipeline-quality natural gas annually. This output is expected to be a profitable and environmentally conscious energy solution, as reported by OilPrice.com.

OilPrice.com noted that the Adams Land & Cattle Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facility highlights the potential contribution of American agriculture to sustainable energy efforts.
