Ningbo-Zhoushan Port has established a new record for green methanol bunkering within Zhejiang province, according to Ship & Bunker. This achievement involved the supply of a significant volume of green methanol to a vessel.
The bunkering operation took place on Monday, when a Cosco methanol dual-fuel boxship received the fuel. This event marks a notable development in the region's marine fuel sector.
The vessel was supplied with 5,500 metric tonnes of green methanol. This volume represents the largest green methanol bunkering operation recorded in Zhejiang province to date, as reported by Ship & Bunker.
