Veritas Shipmanagement, a Greek bulker owner, has reportedly placed an order for two new ultramax vessels with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry in Zhoushan, according to Splash 247. This order extends a newbuilding partnership between Veritas and the Chinese yard that began in 2023.
Local shipbrokers have identified Veritas as the buyer for these two 64,000 deadweight tonnage (dwt) bulkers, Splash 247 reported. The vessels are expected to be delivered in 2030, further expanding Veritas's fleet.
