Kyklades Maritime Corporation, a Piraeus-based independent tanker owner and operator, has announced a partnership with ShipMoney, a global maritime payments provider. The collaboration aims to introduce digital crew payment solutions across a portion of its fleet, as reported by Hellenic Shipping News.
The agreement will see ShipMoney's platform utilized for crew wage advances and payouts. This initiative is set to benefit a multinational crew of approximately 500 seafarers employed by Kyklades Maritime, according to the source publication.
The digital payment solutions will be implemented across 18 of Kyklades Maritime's vessels. This move by the Greek tanker operator is intended to enhance wage access for its seafarers, as stated in Hellenic Shipping News.
